By accessing or using integrationera.com (the "Site") or subscribing to any paid service we offer (the "Services"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use the Site or Services.

1. Who We Are

Integration Era ("Integration Era," "we," "us") is a website operated by 2C Consulting LLC, a Utah limited liability company doing business as Charlie Forêt ("the Company").

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. To purchase a paid subscription, you must be at least 18 or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Accounts

You may browse free content without an account. To access gated content, post in the community, or subscribe as a Patron, you must register an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current information;
Keep your password confidential;
Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Content and Intellectual Property

All stories, characters, world-building, podcasts, audiobooks, artwork, and other content published on the Site ("Our Content") are the intellectual property of 2C Consulting LLC / Charlie Forêt, except where third-party credit is given. All rights reserved.

You may:

Read and enjoy Our Content for personal, non-commercial use.
Share links to public stories on social media.
Quote brief excerpts for review, commentary, or criticism consistent with fair use.

You may not:

Copy, redistribute, republish, or mirror Our Content in whole or substantial part;
Use Our Content to train machine-learning models, generative AI systems, or similar automated systems without our prior written permission;
Remove copyright notices or watermarks;
Create derivative works for commercial purposes without a license.

Fan works (non-commercial fanfiction, fan art, discussion) are welcomed and encouraged, provided they credit Integration Era and do not imply official endorsement.

5. User-Submitted Content

If you post comments, community discussion, feedback, or other material ("Your Content"), you retain ownership, but you grant the Company a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and moderate Your Content in connection with operating the Site. You represent that Your Content is original to you or properly licensed, and does not infringe any third-party rights.

We may remove any user content at our discretion, particularly content that is unlawful, harassing, spam, or otherwise violates these Terms.

6. Paid Subscriptions (Patron)

Paid subscriptions are governed by our Subscription & Billing Terms and Refund & Cancellation Policy, both incorporated here by reference.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Site for unlawful purposes;
Attempt to breach security, probe for vulnerabilities, or circumvent access controls;
Scrape, crawl, or harvest content except via our public RSS or podcast feeds at reasonable rates;
Upload viruses, malware, or malicious code;
Harass, threaten, or impersonate others;
Use automated systems to create accounts or post content.

8. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services to operate the Site, including Stripe for payment processing and hosting, email, and storage providers. Your use of paid Services is also subject to Stripe's terms at https://stripe.com/legal. We are not responsible for third-party services' acts or omissions.

9. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR SERVICES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100.00).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations on liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its owners, officers, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

12. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or at our reasonable discretion. Sections 4, 9, 10, 11, 13, and 14 survive termination.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute not resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Site or by email to registered users at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Site after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
