The way out was obvious, the same prime-pattern shapes from the other chamber, and Nev was already halfway to it. Once again, our entryway was gone.
"Nev," I called, standing still and looking around. This room was different from any we'd been in before. More so in my overlay. I was surrounded by a hemisphere of stars, standing in a three-dimensional star map.
"Let's go, Kes," Nev insisted.
"No. Let's look around. Use your overlay." Focusing on one of the stars made my vision flash and the image zoomed in until I could see planets within that star's system. Two of the planets were outlined in cyan.…
