Site feedback

I’m looking for feedback here. Currently the site give you an excerpt of a story or chapter, the ability to download the full chapter as an ePub, and the ability to listen to the chapter (if it has audio). My question is do you want the ability to read the entire chapter or story in your browser here? Let me know what experience you offer.

Testing the user gamification. I like the idea of interactions within the site tracking/updating my stats and skills. What else is planned around this feature set?

I do in fact enjoy the option of reading the full chapter on the site, and not having to pull it down as an epub.

Auto-Allocate is not working past the initial quiz. Is it supposed to be?

Thanks. I set things up as download only at the start before I had tracking metrics for visits vs full reads in place. I may go back on the serials and put the full chapter text in as I've done on more recent items. Thanks for the feedback.

I've improved the documentation on auto-allocation. It appears to be working correctly. Let me know your specific issues and I'll look further. My guess is you are seeing the prime-progression for stat increases in action.

I did notice that it seemed to start working recently when I picked up some new points. I'm not sure if it was just that the initial investments were not picked up or what.

Activities have "affinity" for different stats, so auto-allocate matches to the stat. For example, reading a story is worth a point in Signal. If you've already raised Signal 3 times, it takes 5 points (prime progression of raises = 1 - 2 - 3 - 5 - 7 - etc.) for the next raise, so you might look stuck.

Do you think that in the future, skills listed on the dashboard might either fold out when clicked on, or hyperlink to the relevant skill in the skill compendium?

I think so! Ease of use is always king when cost to implement is low.

Will Designation Rank be added to the site at some point? Or is it more a matter of figuring out how to align the Designations and progress them given the nature of engagement available at this time?

I haven't decided yet. DR may be given for engagement on the site to mimic the stories, where it is advanced when the Integration recognizes behaviors. At the moment, I'm focused on writing and minor tweaks on the site. Figuring out DR here would be more involved.

Have you considered archiving the newsletters here on the site for you/others to dig back through?

Also, not sure if it was a copy/paste issue but there was a typo in the last one in the Personnel File section missing the A from audio.
